I am no Saint or a Monk. But I wish I was one. I am a normal human in the process of learning to let go. As with everything in life, when you desire to learn something the teacher will appear or many a times your circumstances become your best teacher.
Letting go of a lot of things were comparatively easy in life, like letting go of my comfort zone, letting go of my attachments, letting go of unhealthy life style etc..but with evolution the challenges are becoming more and more difficult unlike I thought it would be easy. The test gets difficult and more complex to solve. But the only good it does is I am able to get detached. Still not able to let go.
This struggle is more internal. I have this particular question pop up in my mind like the hot pop corn every time I want to let go on major things .
Is it Let Go or Give Up??
Let go, this is the serene me, the emotional me, me in the influence of the right brain. It says just let it go and live in peace. It backs me with so much confidence to support me. It also shows me all the rosy pictures of life when I can let go.
Give up, this is the logical me, the more complex me, the questioning me, the me on the command of left brain. It says it’s shame to give up, it challenges me, it shows me all that I will loose by giving up.
A born Gemini, what more can I expect!! So one moment I am ready to let go, the other moment I am ready to fight and not give up.
Let go, give up, let go, give up…looks like a game of ’Inky pinky ponky’. Letting go of this game is one big challenge and more so I wish I was a saint or a monk.
