Feel- good-factor

Feel- good-factor

The smell of the first rain, the green grass ,Sky, sunrise, sun set and many more can be a feel good factor for a lot of us .I am now thinking about the feel-good- factor that we get around  certain people. What makes a few people  special that just a short visit or a chat makes you  feel really good from within.

Not all people get the same comfort feel with a particular person, it varies so much and I am intrigued by this simple thing that makes an ocean of difference. We all have one person(a lucky few have more) who does not necessarily have a solution to all our problems, in fact most of the times we don’t even share our problems to them. But we feel relaxed…some kind of a joy creeps in to us and suddenly you feel your heart weighs less(wish we had people who can also literally make us weigh less on the scale ;))

So what is the logic behind it? what is that special connection that we get with a certain people. Are we related from the previous birth? Did we meet them on purpose??, is the feeling mutual?, does the feeling change over time??.These are a very few of the numerous questions going on in my mind.

Personally I feel I have got this feel -good- factor with a lot of different people over the years and it sill stays. The geographical distance and the commitments in life  has made it not very easy to connect whenever you feel a need. But when ever an opportunity comes,  it is bliss. I do go out of my way to just sit near these kind of people. There is sure a magic and that magic is my curious thought of the day.

Life is made of opposites , so as I think of the feel good factor, there is a not so good factor lurking around too. I do get a not so good feeling about a certain people and most of the time it is true.  How much ever you invest in such a kind of relationships ,it back fires . I have at times worked on this and tried getting over my instincts and made friends with a not so good feeling kind of people…I can hang around them but end of the day unconsciously negativity sets in and manifests in forms that I don’t personally enjoy.

The best part of it is I can also be a feel -good- factor for some and a not so feel -good- factor for some(may be even many). Isn’t that interesting? once I got to over hear a loud phone conversation(the voice of the person on the other side of the call was loud and audible in a silent hotel room), this person on the call was a business acquaintance(neutral feeling kind for me).The voice shook my inner self and proved the above point true to me. The voice was the daughter of the lady in the room and she was shocked that her mom had to share a room with me and exclaimed” Are u sharing the room with that Terror?”

This incident brought the realization that I also have a duality in me and that’s the way nature works. Life is good if we judge less and put our thoughts in the feel -good- factors of life and have the company of feel good people. Developing positive circle of friends and expanding our friendship is a sure way to grow internally. For life is short, but you and I  are limitless.
