The Moment made Limitless

The Moment made Limitless

That last bit of vanilla ice cream, the climax of that interesting movie, the last few pages of the book you adored, the car ride where you peacefully dosed knowing your destination is close by, the morning alarm just when u got a comfortable position to sleep, the hug, the love, the friendship all that you wished never got over. You secretly wished it went on and on. You loved the feeling so much that you wanted it forever.

I do remember my childhood days when I thought I cannot live a day without my mom around. I got into college where I had to stay away from home. I took the choice of studying at a college away from home.

My school autographs book has many forever and now I don’t know the whereabouts. That childhood friend who I thought is the only friend I will have in my life has become one of my friends.

I remember the boring summer vacations, where I used to play cards with my cousins just to kill time. My grandfather never approved us of playing cards. I once told him I am playing cards just to pass the time. He told me something powerful.

“Time will pass even if You don’t want it to”

How true it is, the ice cream will get over, the movie will end, the book will too, you got to get up even if you want the ride to go on and on, the day will begin and you got to let go of that comfortable position. The hug, the love, the friendship will also pass. But the good news is the feeling can linger with you forever.

A lot of times we start feeling sad even before the moment is gone. We start focusing on what will life be without it. Be it small or be it big. That creates worry and that brings in sadness.

What if we can enjoy the moment more than worrying about the next moment? What if we can truly live and relish all that is now? What if we can thank the moment instead of worrying about what next?

Living in the moment and soaking at the moment gives an extra advantage of carrying the essence of the moment forward. You may not have a chance to relive that moment. But you will be able to relive the feeling as many times as you want. The essence of it will always be with you empowering you. Like love, you have for your mom, no matter if she is around you.

Limiting yourself to the moment is one best way to become Limitless.
